What People say about Smile Thai cooking school ?

We highly recommend attending Leng's cooking school at the Pano
Resort. We went there this morning and were the only guests so had
private tuition. We found the school on tripadvisor and felt we had to
repost here.
Leng used to run the school at Blue Lagoon on Koh Chang but left to
set up her own place here on Koh Mak. The class is easy going, full of
interesting food facts, and belly busting as you get to eat everything
you cook. For 1,200 baht it was well worth it. ( rm Jones )

I attended Leng's cooking school in Dec '08 and found if to be a
great experience, not only did we cook some beautiful dishes but we got
to do it at a stunning,peaceful location at her waterside outdoor
kitchen. I'm a chef and have a new found love of Thai cooking. I'v
travelled to thailand many times but this was my first time to Koh Mak. I've already planned
to return in 2010 and will definatelly be looking up Leng again to
learn more.
A few words of advice would be to go on an empty stomache
as you'll leave absolutely stuffed.

Leng is a beautiful, talented, generous, funny, professional... and
learning to cook with Leng gives one such confidence that the dishes
can esily be reproduced when you get back home. And then I realized
just how much dearest Leng had taught us ;o) smiles to your heart Leng

This was by far the best experience on our vacation. The whole
family could participate, two adults and two children 5 years and 10
months old. The 5 year old had a great time cooking, while the 10
months old was either sleeping or playing with Lengs assistent. Leng
was so patient and had a really good hand with the children. We learned
a lot and she was a better teacher than most in Sweden with a 3-4 year university degree.
If you get the chans, go there! The food is excellent and Leng is a wise, professional and talented lady. Book book book!!!
